Terms of Service

By accessing or using Edumintor, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of your school or institution ("School"), and that the School agrees to be bound by them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

Edumintor is a cloud-based school management platform that helps Schools manage student records, attendance, exams and results, fees, communication with parents, and reporting and analytics, across web and mobile applications.

Some features — including SMS and WhatsApp broadcasting, and the optional pay-to-view results feature described in Section 8 — depend on third-party services and may be subject to additional conditions or fees.

Edumintor accounts are created at the School (institutional) level. A School's administrator sets up the account and creates or authorises access for teachers, staff, parents, and other users under the School's account.

Each role — Administrator, Teacher, Parent, and any other role a School configures — is granted access only to the features and data appropriate to that role, as determined by the School's own permission settings.

The School is responsible for the accuracy of any information it provides during registration and for keeping that information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, including parent access codes issued by the School.

Notify us immediately at info@edumintor.com if you suspect unauthorised access to an account.

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law; (b) upload false, defamatory, or infringing content; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other Schools' data, or our systems; (d) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or (e) use the Service to send unsolicited or abusive communications to parents, students, or staff.

We may suspend or terminate access for any use that violates this section, as described in Section 12.

Each School retains ownership of the student, staff, and parent data it submits to Edumintor ("School Data"). We process School Data solely to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

The School is responsible for ensuring it has a lawful basis — including, where required, parental or guardian consent — to submit student and parent information to the Service, and for complying with applicable data protection laws in its jurisdiction.

New Schools may access a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription.

Subscription fees are billed per enrolled student, at a rate agreed with your School during onboarding based on your School's size — there are no tiered discounts and no hidden fees. Full billing terms, invoicing, and payment obligations are set out in the SaaS Services Agreement, which forms part of these Terms for paying Schools.

Schools may optionally enable pay-to-view access to student results for parents. Where enabled, parent payments for this feature are processed through a third-party payment gateway, and the School configures the pricing and terms under which the feature is offered to its parents.

Techcanic is not a party to the payment relationship between a School and its parents and is not responsible for a School's pricing decisions or for payment disputes between a School and a parent.

The Service integrates with third-party providers for SMS delivery, WhatsApp messaging, email, and payment processing. These providers operate under their own terms, and we are not responsible for outages, delays, or failures caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Edumintor, including its software, design, and branding, is the property of Techcanic Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

Subject to these Terms, we grant Schools a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for their internal educational administration purposes.

We aim to keep the Service highly available and perform regular backups of School Data, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice where practicable.

Support is available 24/7 via WhatsApp, phone, and email, as listed on our website.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, if a School breaches these Terms, fails to pay applicable fees, or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

A School may cancel its subscription at any time; the SaaS Services Agreement describes what happens to School Data on and after termination.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Techcanic's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the School in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold Techcanic harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be communicated to School administrators. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
