Finance & Fees
Fee structures, invoices, payments, and collections.
How Fees Work, End to End
Four steps: set up fees, build a fee structure, activate it and generate invoices, then collect payments.
Managing Fee Categories and Items
Go to Finance → Fee Setup to add, edit, or delete the Fee Categories and Fee Items used when building a fee structure.
Creating a Fee Structure and Generating Invoices
Go to Finance → Fee Structures → New Structure.
Viewing a Fee Structure
Go to Finance → Fee Structures, open a row's actions menu, and choose View.
Editing a Fee Structure
Go to Finance → Fee Structures, open a row's actions menu, and choose Edit.
Archiving and Unarchiving a Fee Structure
Go to Finance → Fee Structures, open a row's actions menu, and choose Archive or Unarchive.
Deleting a Fee Structure
Go to Finance → Fee Structures, open a row's actions menu, and choose Delete.
Collecting a Fee Payment
Go to Finance → Payments → Collect Payment.
Understanding Invoice Statuses
Draft, Issued, Part Paid, Paid, Overdue, or Cancelled — each invoice status has a precise meaning.
Managing an Invoice
Go to Finance → Payments → Invoices to view an invoice's details, cancel it, or delete it.
Discounts & Scholarships
Per-line discounts are supported by Edumintor's data model, but there is no admin screen to apply one yet.
Reversing or Refunding a Payment
Successful payments can't be edited directly — only reversed or refunded, to keep the money trail intact.
Managing a Payment Record
Go to Finance → Payments to view a payment's details, print its receipt, or delete it.
Fee Statements & School-Wide Collections
A single student's statement (all invoices, payments, balance): open the student's profile → Finance tab, or Finance → Invoices → Student Statement.
Parent Access-Code Transactions
Go to Finance → Transactions to see parent access-code purchases and reset a parent's code.
